And, you are absolutely on target - it is not shocky at all, I go right into the flame with it and I adore the way it just flows softly down.Sharon Driscollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03251019808235731570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7440614731734342464.post-43659587372744608492010-10-26T01:30:35.422-04:002010-10-26T01:30:35.422-04:00Fabulous Sharon - just wonderful!!
Try Chalcedony...Fabulous Sharon - just wonderful!!

Try Chalcedony stringers on some of the gaffer opal colour bases. In some cases the stringer will cause the opal base colour to separate beautifully & give a wonderful striated appearance.

The lighter opals (ivory & duck egg white etc) will do the same on top of a chalcedony base bead if melted in turning dark & translucent towards the centre of the colour. Great possibilities for floral & batik style designs :)

Isn't it a dream to melt such a lovely non- shocky glass?Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05152008716680160516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7440614731734342464.post-8534864463103419402010-10-25T10:39:14.400-04:002010-10-25T10:39:14.400-04:00Gorgeous beads, Sharon!Gorgeous beads, Sharon!rosebud101https://www.blogger.com/profile/04266675372008597168noreply@blogger.com
