I love a good conversion chart. I have several of my favorites laminated because it's just plain easier to grab a chart and see what drill bit goes with what gauge wire. Here is the king of places to get conversion charts for your workbench:

The only problem I have with ring size charts is that I normally don't make a full circle for the ring if I'm setting a stone on top...know what I mean?
Lela - I don't know how you do that but I go for a smaller size than needed and bend it on a ring mandrel to the desired size. I then rub it (the ends to be soldered to the backing) on wet/dry sandpaper that's been attached to a very flat plastic clipboard. I like to do this wet. I do both sides at once this way and they end up nice and flat and angled correctly if you are putting them on a flat backing. I really don't like the round soldered to a back either...to much flipping around for me.
